Today the 22nd Annual Congress of the European Society of Domestic Animal Reproduction (ESDAR) was inaugurated at the University of Cordoba (UCO). The conference began yesterday on the 27th and will take place until September 29th. This congress is part of the scientific and technical events calendar of the AgriFood Campus of International Excellence ceiA3.
The event was inaugurated by Enrique Quesada Moraga—vice-chancellor of Territorial Research and Development of the University of Cordoba and general coordinator of ceiA3—and attended by Manuel Hidalgo Prieto—vice-dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Cordoba and president of the organizing committee of the congress. Both highlighted the importance of holding an international congress of such great magnitude in Cordoba and conveyed special thanks to the University of Cordoba and ceiA3 for their support.
The event, which will be held at the University of Cordoba, consists of five plenary sessions, ten workshops, eight talks and two scientific posters. Throughout the conference, around 350 participants from across Europe will be able to establish networks and share knowledge on issues related to animal reproduction.
ESDAR, which is organized by the research group attached to ceiA3 AGR-275 Veterinary Reproduction (UCO), received a total of 450 abstracts in this 22nd edition.
The celebration of the 22nd edition of ESDAR takes part of the ceiA3’s scientific and technical events calendar for 2018. This event has been organized within the framework of the call Aid for the promotion of agrifood innovation through ceiA3's organization of events, financed by the Junta de Andalucia’s Strategic Plan of Culture.
